Background:In recent years, a vast number of men are seeking medical treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). The efficacy of these treatments for ED has been demonstrated by a large number of studies. However, their use in this population is controversial, with some reports suggesting that men are less likely to use the medications (for example, Viagra®) than women (for example, Cialis®) []. In fact, the FDA has not approved the use of Viagra® for ED, despite a substantial body of research supporting its use in this population []. This study aimed to investigate whether this medication is effective in the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common condition that affects millions of men worldwide. ED is characterized by an inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. It is characterized by the difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection satisfactory for sexual activity []. In a recent study, it was shown that men who had used Viagra® in the past were less likely to develop ED than those who did not use the medication (in terms of erectile dysfunction) []. However, erectile dysfunction (ED) in men taking Viagra® is not a cause for concern. The only drug in the treatment of ED is Cialis®, which is an oral medication that has been shown to be effective for men who do not respond to oral treatments [].
In this study, we used the same questionnaire as in the literature. In addition, we investigated the effect of Cialis® on ED in men with ED. We also assessed the effect of Cialis® on ED in men with erectile dysfunction. The results of this study are presented as a table of treatment efficacy of Cialis® vs Viagra® in the treatment of ED in men with erectile dysfunction.
Table shows the treatment efficacy of Cialis® vs Viagra® in the treatment of ED in men with ED. In addition, we also assessed the effect of Cialis® on ED in men with erectile dysfunction.
The mean age of the study participants was 35.0 years. Most of the participants (97.0%) were male, with a mean age of 49.2 years. Most of the men (94.0%) were in their 40’s or older. Nearly all of the participants (90.5%) were white, with a mean score of 2.3 or higher on the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) questionnaire []. The mean score on the IIEF questionnaire was higher than that of the IIEF-VEF scale []. The mean International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) score of the ED study group was 5.6, which is the score for which the mean score was 1.6. The mean score of the Cialis® study group was 8.6, which is the score for which the mean score was 1.7.
There were no significant differences between the groups in terms of age, age group and sex. The mean age of the men treated with Cialis® was higher than that of the men in the group treated with Viagra®. The mean score on the IIEF questionnaire was 3.2 or higher, compared with 2.1 or higher for the IIEF-VEF scale []. The mean score of the group treated with Cialis® was 4.6, which is the score for which the mean score was 5.6. The mean score of the Cialis® group was 8.6, which is the score for which the mean score was 3.7. The mean score of the group treated with Viagra® was 8.7, which is the score for which the mean score was 6.6.
